Project 17 is working to promote and market the goods from small food based businesses within the region. Food based includes fruit or vegetable producers, protein producers who sell directly to customers, honey producers, value added food products or homemade goods, and restaurants who buy and sell locally based food products. Traci Storey has earned Certified Municipal Clerk status and received a plaque from Lana McPherson, president elect of the International Institute of Municipal Clerks at a recent council meeting. Also pictured is Mayor Marty Southard and Nathan Law, city administrator, on the back row.
Utility Clerk Jessica McGowin also received a plaque from Ms. McPherson for completing the Municipal Clerk Certification Institute.
